Atlantic City has always held a special place in my heart. From visiting my dad while he worked at the old Sands Casino, to touching starfish at the tiny Atlantic City Aquarium , to countless walks along the boardwalk and beach collecting shells, I’ve spent most of my life in this loud, messy, chaotic city. And honestly? I love it. But I’ll also be real with you, unless you’re a local, Atlantic City isn’t always my top vacation recommendation. St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in South Jersey seem to start on March 1st and never really end. This year, we headed to Hammonton with friends to experience the chaos of the St. Patrick’s Day bar crawl colliding with Restaurant Week. Silly us, we thought we could just walk into a restaurant.
