Glitz, Glamour, and I Almost Forgot We Were in Atlantic City: Mocktails, Dinner, and a Fabulous Show

Atlantic City has always held a special place in my heart. From visiting my dad while he worked at the old Sands Casino, to touching starfish at the tiny Atlantic City Aquarium , to countless walks along the boardwalk and beach collecting shells, I’ve spent most of my life in this loud, messy, chaotic city. And honestly? I love it. But I’ll also be real with you, unless you’re a local, Atlantic City isn’t always my top vacation recommendation. Not because it’s unsafe, okay maybe my favorite pizza shop has seen a shooting or two, (honestly, I personally think it’s generally fine), but because for a long time there simply wasn’t much to do beyond gambling, eating, and hoping a show you liked happened to be in town. St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in South Jersey seem to start on March 1st and never really end. This year, we headed to Hammonton with friends to experience the chaos of the St. Patrick’s Day bar crawl colliding with Restaurant Week. Silly us, we thought we could just walk into a restaurant. Everywhere was booked. Everywhere was packed. Everywhere was loud. After lots of wandering, debating, and accepting defeat, we stumbled into Snouts and Stouts Brewing ; a brewery that promises a unique experience. They weren’t kidding. A Dog-Friendly Brewery… Emphasis on the Dogs The place was lively the moment we walked in. Humans were hooting and hollering, and dogs were barking. Yes, this brewery is proudly dog-friendly. Our furry friends are more than welcome here, which means you’ll be sharing your night out with pups of all shapes and sizes.
