Glitz, Glamour, and I Almost Forgot We Were in Atlantic City: Mocktails, Dinner, and a Fabulous Show
Atlantic City has always held a special place in my heart. From visiting my dad while he worked at the old Sands Casino, to touching starfish at the tiny Atlantic City Aquarium , to countless walks along the boardwalk and beach collecting shells, I’ve spent most of my life in this loud, messy, chaotic city. And honestly? I love it. But I’ll also be real with you, unless you’re a local, Atlantic City isn’t always my top vacation recommendation. Not because it’s unsafe, okay maybe my favorite pizza shop has seen a shooting or two, (honestly, I personally think it’s generally fine), but because for a long time there simply wasn’t much to do beyond gambling, eating, and hoping a show you liked happened to be in town. That’s been changing. Places like Ocean Casino have added attractions like Topgolf and indoor mini golf . You can catch a movie at Tropicana. The Pool at Harrahs usually has a party going.
