From LBI to Egg Harbor City: One Incredible Mocktail Couldn't Save Date Night

Image
PHEW. What a whirlwind of a week! From partying with thousands of people at Hell's Belles, to spending a sunny day exploring Long Beach Island, discovering a classic Stewart's Root Beer drive-in, and ending the week with a date night that... well... didn't exactly go as planned. Let's dive into another week of adventures around South Jersey, because I have so much to tell you! Hell's Belles at The Deck at Golden Nugget Last week kicked off with another incredible Hell's Belles event hosted by 103.7 WMGM at The Deck at Golden Nugget in Atlantic City. Holy moly. Every year I think, "There's no way more people can fit on that deck." Every year... somehow they do. The atmosphere was absolutely electric, the music was fantastic, and you all SHOWED UP. It was chaotic in the best possible way. Oh... and my friend Karle introduced me to the famous Halara skirt. TikTok won. It's already on the way to my house. A Perfect Day Trip to Long Beach Island Ove...

Sometimes the best meals aren't fancy. They're the ones filled with good friends, crispy fries, a sweet mocktail, and plenty of laughter. Thankfully, my cousin completely understands the assignment. Girl Dinner Was a Whole Event When I pulled into the parking lot, I was greeted by absolute chaos, in the best way possible. Cars filled every parking space and spilled onto the side streets. I finally found a spot closer to Dairy Queen and made the short walk over. Before heading inside, I stopped to admire ...

If you've been following along lately, you know I've been on a mission to uncover the best mocktails and dining experiences around South Jersey. Unfortunately, this week started with a serious mocktail drought. While working an event at Ducktown Tavern in Atlantic City, I thought I could sneak away long enough to grab a fun alcohol-free drink. I sent Joe off to enjoy some wings and scout out the beverage situation. Sadly, the report came back less than ideal: no mocktails. To be fair, it is Ducktown. The event wrapped up quickly, so instead of dwelling on my mocktail disappointment, we checked out their newly opened Duck Hut and enjoyed the atmosphere. Maybe we'll circle back another time and see what else they have to offer. Summer in South Jersey Means One Thing... It's officially summer at the Jersey Shore. The locals are juggling packed work schedules, bumper-to-bumper traffic, and yes... the arrival of the shoobies. Meanwhile, I spent most of the week glued to one...
